Production Log Week 6
What progress did you make since your previous entry?
This Monday during my frees, lunch time, and after school I was to finish my editing completely and get my end of my documentary done with the music and graphics completed. I had done all of this without any problems which was an advantage because I was very close to my deadline.
What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
There were no logisitcal challenges as everything had gone to plan as I wanted it to which benefited me a lot as I didn't have a lot of time left and I felt like I had quite a lot to do in the moment. I had managed to finish it all even as I had to quickly do the voice recordings which wasn't a problem as I knew what I was saying.
What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
I had no technical challenges this week which again was a benefit to me as I didn't have much time left and I needed to get things done as soon as possible so I met my deadline. Everything went really smoothly as I had a lot of time to get things done within my frees and after school.
What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
This is the end of my documentary. I successfully met the deadline and I edited to the best of my ability. I didn't think my documentary would end up as it did to what I imagined in the first place but it didn't matter as it still made sense and I overcome every situation which didn't allow me to finish my documentary sooner.

Production Log Week 5
What progress did you make since your previous entry?
The progress I made since my previous entry was that I finally managed to get all my vox pops done, I had done these in the park and on my street. I filmed a lot of cutaways such as the exam hall, and I also realised I hadn't got any cutaways of Mrs Lowndes room so I had done them. I also had to film me asking the questions to Mrs Lowndes so I had done that and uploaded the footage. During the school hours and in my frees and lunch times I stayed to do the editing.
What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The only logistical challenged I faced was that I filmed on the wrong side of my questions to Mrs Lowndes. I hadn't realised at the time until I uploaded the footage to start editing. To overcome this I flipped the footage to make it the right angle and so I had to do this for all of the questions which wasn't a problem.
What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
I didn't face any technical challenges which was good because my deadline was next Monday so I didn't have enough time for things to start going wrong so it had benefited me in a lot of ways.
What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
My targets for this week as it's the last week is to sort out the music and graphics. I will make sure my vox pops are edited in right and I will have a run through of my documentary to see if it all fits in together. Also, I have to finish off my documentary.

Production Log Week 4
What progress did you make since your previous entry?
This week I had finished editing one interview together which was Suntia's one, and I had more than halfway done Mrs Lowndes interview. I went to Westfield and filmed all my pieces to camera shots and any location shots I could get to make sure I had enough. However, I did not get to film any Vox pops in and around Westfield which was a dissapoint because the area is very appealing.
What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges I faced were that the security came over and said I couldn't use the tripod anymore as it wasn't safe. However I did manage to film my pieces to camera in time so it wasn't as much as a problem. The real issue was not getting the Vox pops filmed because I was running out of time as I had to go to work, and no one wanted to be filmed as they were in a rush or didn't want to be on camera which seems to be the main problem. To overcome this, all I could do was to film down my street so people were familiar of who I am and hopefully they would be willing to be on camera.

Production Log Week 3
What progress did you make since your previous entry?
This week I had decided to do shots of the school and me walking to the school as extra footage for when I go to interview Mrs Lowndes as her interview was in her office in the school. I also wanted to do the vox pops, which again didn't go to plan as no one wanted to be filmed which became a disadvantage as it meant more time was wasted.
What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges I faced were the vox pops, purely because people didn't want to be on camera but didn't mind the idea of actually answering the questions which didn't come to any use because I needed to film them. To overcome this issue, I had to try and find another time to do the voxpops, but this time I wanted to go Westfield to film as I thought there would be more tourism there and people would be likely to want to answer questions.
What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
I didn't face any technical challenges this week because I was focusing more on getting the vox pops done during my editing time. But because trying to get the vox pops was such a problem I had wasted editing time during my school lesson hours. Production Log Week 2
What progress did you make since your previous entry?
I interviewed Mrs Lowndes on the 9th Friday and uploaded the footage onto the iMac and managed to do a little bit of editing but not a great amount of the interview between me and Sunita. However, I did not manage to do my Vox Pops because of the weather.
What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges I faced were the Vox Pops. When it came to the weekend I went around on the streets to ask people my set of questions... however the weather worsened as it became rainy and windy so I had to stop because I didn't want the equipment getting wet. To overcome this problem, I had to plan another day to do the vox pops which I had decided to do during school time as I thought would be better because there is also a park next to the school.
What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
I had no technical challenges as of this week because I didn't do a lot of editing on the iMac. This also had benefited me as it gave me a chance to edit more without any problems occurring and making me slow down which was an advantage as I only have a couple of weeks to finish this documentary.
